tentative

October 24, 2025 · Mind

we both knew not the lines, because they say it is too complex and making vague helps. helps who? i wondered. flipping burgers is said to be simple, the mind games not so much, how true. *i should see it now* when you could come so very near brush it all away, dismiss it all as hearsay, the crowd loves you because. you never gave a damn. makes me wonder about human rationality something i took for granted that things happen for a reason, never daring to question the edge of sanity, because so much goes unexplained they say not to reach further i care not, yet very different from you am i not? you look me not in the eye, since 2 beings not adhered to the same cloth must disagree on what common sense is a fabric of reality torn out, from one piece, i know not my mirror opposite. how strange it all is: i care not to wonder still do. when touching the lines: they evaporate, clouds form not, rain no more. and ships set for sail no longer can they sit by the docks, staring at each other wanting to set off, not able to. like you and me, still pretending something precious exist. irrationality must not be taken for real, too terrible to bear and we both go on in this senseless fog making lines that were never there. it is all we can do, to have make belief one of us must live, both of us live playing a pretend game taken for real, as if. as if, the curtains drop, too heavy with water. not under the bridge, it's all been taken account of me, you this crucible, one of us quite intact and a laugh. lines, what lines? to question is rebellion, nothing you cannot squash, till even lines depart like they always have ... ... tentative: to go along like it means too much. it's what you want, lines, crack, dissolve when it's always been about how got the upper hand, but never had it been what i believed: some idealism that never was.
