Put visits the mind: the actor plays

September 28, 2023 · Unfold

Ridiculed, frowned upon for my deformity, what they consider a lack, my past lives must have been quite wicked they say, or that I have hidden moral flaws, how quick to judge when I was little like them, how the handsome kids threw stones on me for being poor, ugly and ill mannered. I never had a father, only a mother that worked 4 jobs to bring end's meet, those with plenty love to make small chat, love to cast their opinion then pat themselves on the back because they gave their 2 cent's worth, that they took time for wretched me, and if I said all lives were equal, how incredulous they would say, of such a notion, damned, condemned, cursed that has always been the lot I was given. It's unfair, and of course all the good men nod their head without doing anything. All I ever wanted, all any ever wants is a chance, a fair competition, a start where we are set at the same level, it is too much to ask. no, impossible and thus my thoughts become fantasy and a ride in clouds, in horses, pandas, my childhood dreams, I've never lived them, not even once.
