Lucy faces the chills

October 3, 2023 · Unfold

Chipped cornerstone, and I try to pretend that nothing has happened, my belief has wanned with time as I find that the greedy and cunning do get more, the meek and not so cunning find themselves last, they have not yet become first, I have lots of doubts that they ever will, it matters not because the experience is enforced each day of what is, becoming more and more real even when words say the opposites, you know how it is, please pray for me, and the good guys pray, meanwhile I am not brought out of my diseases, how convenient to flap their lips to the wall, they go about their business like walking saints, each and everyone reaffirming to each other they have done the good fight, and who am I to judge? It is their faith, is it not? And yet, I feel like a chasm has opened up, I think I am falling, losing my identity, quietly, so quietly I may as well not be in the room as the laughter goes on.
