Chipped

October 3, 2023 · Cornerstone

Slow, very slowly it is so very slow it might never ever happened, but it did, the ghost touched me again, again the shivers, then it subsided and I was not sure if it was just chills, and then the crawling, the icy dots splattered on the spine, the lungs suddenly has been drained off air I try to think and the mind has gone blank from a lack of oxygen, each time it happens, I am fading, albeit quietly, so quiet it might seems like I am still around, this is a shift, the fulcrum pivoting to something else, what I know not, it is not better, it is worse for I can feel the chill again, the chill more insistent now.
