the mind of god

April 22, 2026 · Temple

you know you got it kind of peculiar; the words begin to fade become stuck, mangled, strangled and a hoarse cry hisses then spurts the red sea. zombies try to walk the living do, skeletal, paper thin, wind flows takes off with these dead looking eyes still piecing: and you are staring up from a lifeless sea whose ink swept out from beneath a rug; did anyone say how awful it is to try to be wrapped inside a tornado swallowed be the sea? i tried to play god once, told myself never to conjure spirits that seemed to do my every whim. some had faces, some none, most of them appeared to be cats with human eyes. i tried to pry her claws open, fascinated by the doggy toy wrapped around her tail - of course she would not allow my paper thin fingers to assert authority. get lost! claws with really long nails chided, knew my weakness already and tore right through; next thing i knew i got caught up in the air, lost in what appeared to be some refraction trick. the pulses locked within, keeps veering to one side, left. left. then it was a mad push: i swung to the other end, plastered with many teeth as god pressed the envelope, sealed it. never converse with strange spirits! his saliva must have gotten into my head, i can't seem to shake out as he stakes iron nails unto me, that hurts i begin to fizzle away, bubbling through the redness, it surely stings, like a bee sting hitting the eye! yes, yes, you know now, and i found magma spilling forth, my mouth opened wide to yell; found a heart so very tiny, like a million starlight from me. bits and bytes like zero and ones, binary turd splatters on my face, i tried to exist without inhaling this snow storm; sucked in the binary and what sounded like a dynamite exploding - the http request, the handshakes of tcp/ip, filled my mouth like dead flies. short circuit, then a worm hole came out of a straw, drink deeply, the god-child laughed and interrogated the bells he holds, rattles them like a swing of a pendulum, and once again i fell back to the other extreme. later on i recalled a sky turning green, you see i was quite egoistical, drank the whole absinth, the sea must have addled my brains, maybe the red had always been the wormwood ingredient for that liquor like fishes blabbering about how humans real had too much time on their hands. you know, fishes knew better than to challenge god, to swim comes without learning, to understand the laws of nature, the beams of zeros and ones do not bother fishes. i thought i found an epiphany, you know when light begins to get absorbed by death, when darkness wavers, falters and hits her knee; when the collapsing was not enough; it's never enough is it? darkness laughs hysterical. light touches the the floor of the unbreathable sea. i swore i saw the child-god all grown up. and he said it is time to wake up.
