temple of doom

a metallic taste, a fitful cough ocular migraine a raspy throat - try one layer deeper when it is not angel dust settling along this calm scenic route; ghostly touches, specters giving vision a banshee wails yet the fields are lighted up with rosy charm: try greed, lust, envy, pride, gluttony, wrath and sloth take greed: dopamine shoots up take lust: feelings have never been better take envy: gives purpose and meaning take pride: you're invincible, never wrong take gluttony: delectable food and it's always more take wrath: you're the judge take sloth: the world rushing in the highway with swears and beeps surely the story told was inside out; vices top virtue at any time - and the crowd is rushing for the high, the sway the dance, the belonging, the gaslighting begins i'm better than you oh really comes the retort! now that you mention it, you've got a hole in your sleeves and a layer beneath hunger, unfulfillment, malice cloaked like sugar cake - does this appearance look easy on the eye? a banshee lunges, a specter gives damnation, how lush the fields, how dead the roots. and a silence hangs mid air when the boatman drinks more sea water, becomes more thirsty - cursed a tug, a pull; drinks again, drinks again even when he knows he should not. then the 7 deadly sins smirked: when logic, feelings wrestle not with repetitive behavior unstoppable. and the field is green, colored with many flowers swaying - about how pretty how hollow beneath it a wasteland with a carriage horse going by and passengers they get off, to take root in this vibrant meadow. becomes home, becomes a life style, becomes like everyone else - a painting in the picture a reflection in the mirror an announcement in the television box and it was all so very intoxicating, a positive feedback loop - you're doing great! the ground has become unstable, shaky, tremors come about: and still more passengers got off to make this place home.
