intent

April 14, 2026 · Paths

today i heard a voice say, i had only good intent - security, to feel alive, then went out on a spree to paint the town in what can only be described as vandalism, the court ruled penalties. vessels brush by spirits, unaware of these demi-gods, whispering, tainting, occupying, once the linger last a little too long. sometimes it turns out for the best, those jagged hillsides one would never venture to - smells like marsh reeks of decomposed filth why bother? then the hammer pummels the iron, does not feel like heaven and the slow mind gradually sees just a glimpse of what fine sword does. or a drunkard lured into one more drink, i only want to feel destressed he says. later on - remembers not what he did, seems like he did not remember what he did his entire life. spirits are subtle, more subtle than the most ingenious humans - they lay invisible hooks precious. they cultivate, they show up unexpectedly, they steer, they make a coincidence seem planned. they prep, cross functional, the bricks on top of granite with a biased dice and all the while intent has become a life string in a maze: sure wish it was that simple. it isn't. free will, used, by who? i got a free ride! the jubilant free loader yelled, only to realize his driver's nature, called for grace, and held on to dear life, never got off that car. the lies evolved, became more intricate, more cunning, a free ride! takes two hands to shake, an agreement longed - that's how eternity is made.
