heart of the beholder

customary back and forth like the sea tossing a hi five - barely registers on the inside when wrapped springs coil with increasing tension even though the words coming out is still like free flowing wine. more sir? a nod, absent minded behavior, inertia carries forth this act slowly sinking awareness of dams breaking and a flood changing the landscape, no longer quiet hellos or thin skin paper dolls wafting like baked dough - tough, hardened, transformed. and the swirl of dust spiraling on a fulcrum rising like the a new star on the horizon; slipping through a wormhole of many filters, of eyes, sense, emotions, spirit, till even the lips tighten when the constable ask for more data. because he too is flooding along with walls shattered when paper thin floor opens up, like a gaping mouth of a goldfish sucking up the air. it has grown quiet, dark, the air moves rapidly, funneled away in a vacuum on the other side, i think the status quo became brittle like the crust of this loaf of bread munched, with springs no longer loaded, the seeds have sprouted, taken wings they are the many florid thoughts given life. it was quite of a stretch really when truth finally surfaces.
