was not that difficult really, is it? to run away from temptation, to cling to - love. nuanced, the devil plays with emotions, words, logic, reasonings led eve to question! how's the walk with the world been? ah, a constant desire for more, keeps growing, never satisfied, greed - eating so very much but still it is not enough. and that's just one, spirit. it's been a merry road you know, meeting all these spirits, i see them in the mirror, their eyes shine like the color of mine when i blink, they blink, and yet oh what a price of ever needing more. you walk pass the door, it's easy to miss - no advertisers shout, jump or raise flags, it's just this plain looking door, you know all these social movements, all these values placed in symbols - with the pendulum swinging always; just too much force, smashes the table. swings again, over correction. but this plain door, doesn't quite enchant, doesn't quite blow the mind, and inside the dwelling, a humble man, soft spoken, dressed in rags, again not impressive, nothing to wow about, i did not have to impress, i did not have to lie, i did not have to fake, i did not have to pretend to be something i was not. i could just be, it is difficult these days you know, no one talks like they used to - it's all very hushed up today, polite short talks, a semblance of love - a semblance, a shadow really, barely breathing. cuts off like a wire snapped, you don't see these relationships go anywhere, it's all hush hush these days, unless you're a kid, still in school, the umbrella hasn't quite been eroded yet, hush hush - i could tell this man anything, he accepts me for who i am, and that's rare, that's mighty rare these days where no one even wants to stay around for a coffee break. an easy excuse, a fast depart, unless there's something more, and even then ... ... more what? lust only grows, pride blinds. ah enough of this now, the man walked, follow he said, it really was as simple as that.
